Threadwinners’ tapestry piece, Succulent, was selected to be a part of the Irvine Fine Arts Center’s All Media 2017 exhibition, juried by interdisciplinary artist Kim Abeles. The exhibition features over 60 works from Southern California artists in a variety of mediums such as painting, sculpture, video installation, printmaking, and crochet! With over 500 submissions, we are truly honored to have been selected for this year’s show.
Liz attended the opening reception this past Saturday, August 26, and got to see all of the amazing pieces featured in the show! Succulent is even the feature image on IFAC’s Fall 2017 ARTBEAT publication, which is pretty cool. Although Alyssa was unable to make it to the opening, Liz definitely felt her presence.
One of our Instagram internet-friends, Rachielle Sheffler, came up from San Diego to say hi and see our work! She’s so nice and we are so humbled that her and her family came out to check out our work! She also does some awesome yarnbombs, which you can see on her Instagram.

The show will be up until Saturday, October 28 and admission is free. Hope you can make it!
